# Unsafe toys seized from Westhoughton Post Office

Westhoughton Post Office on Market Street was visited by Trading Standards officers on Thursday following complaints about items being sold at the premises.

Officers carried out an inspection and seized a number of toys and other products they deemed unsafe or illegal for sale in the UK. These items are believed to have failed to meet national safety standards.

A spokesperson confirmed that Trading Standards are now in contact with the shop’s owner and will speak to them directly before deciding whether any further action is needed.
